At Mentor Hills Post Acute, your loved one’s safety is our top priority. Our secure memory care unit with dedicated staff provides structure, comfort, and fun for our residents. Our residents enjoy forty hours a week of activities, as well as multiple outings a month. Our memory care residents also have access to skilled nursing and long term care services. The unit offers both private and semi-private rooms to make residents feel as at home as possible.
What is Memory Care?
Memory care in a skilled nursing facility consists of a secure area or wing with specialized programming for those with memory loss.
24/7 nursing care is provided by nurses with specific training to support their memory care residents. Activities and unique therapies that support memory function and decrease agitation are a typical part of memory care programming.
Safety, structure, and stress reduction for residents are the top priorities of memory care.
